SEVEN NEW HOMES FEATURED IN MARRANO HOME SHOW
May 30, 2012
Marrano/Marc Equity Corp., the largest builder of new homes in Western New York, will be hosting its second annual home show in the Pleasant Meadows community in Lancaster, June 2-17.
“Each of the seven, single-family homes that will be open for tours is unique,” said John Manns, vice president of sales and marketing for Marrano. “Pleasant Meadows, which features single-family homes, town homes and patio homes, is fast becoming one of the most exciting projects in Western New York due to the wide variety of new housing available to meet so many different lifestyle needs.”
A fully-decorated two-story town home starting in the 160s will be featured along with, for the first time, a master bedroom design. A new ranch design with a front porch, rear covered patio and a flexible floor plan will also be open. Several of the homes are available for immediate sale.
“One of the many attractive features of Pleasant Meadows is its location: it’s close to shopping, great restaurants and Lancaster’s highly-rated schools,” Manns said. Buffalo-Niagara International Airport is minutes away and it’s an easy drive to downtown Buffalo.”
All of the featured homes will be fully-decorated and are landscaped. “We’re showcasing the latest trends in colors, decorating and materials that are being used in new home construction today,” Manns said.
Home show tours can begin at 2 Sterling Place, a single-family model, which will be hosted by Marrano sales agent Linda VanNortwick. This new plan features a 2-story foyer, full front porch, a flex space that can be used as a formal dining room, den or whatever you choose, and a large kitchen that is ideal for family gatherings. The second floor features four bedrooms, 2-1/2 baths with a large master bedroom suite and walk-in closet. Research has found that home buyers want a laundry room on the second floor which is a basic component of this home.
“Within walking distance are several other single-family homes along with our patio home and town home communities,” Manns said. “By walking through the different neighborhoods at Pleasant Meadows, you can get a really good a good feel for the community, and the many amenities that make it so attractive.”
“With interest rates under four percent, a historic low, we encourage prospective home buyers to attend this major event to see how affordable it is to build a new home,” Manns said.

Marrano’s 2011 Home Show in West Seneca attracted more than 8,000 people. “Unlike previous home shows in the area, this is a show for everyone,” Manns noted, “and admission is free.”
Marrano is giving away a $500 cash prize. Entry forms will be available at the model homes. There is no purchase necessary. Winner does not have to be present to win.
